We had the Meagre, Sole, lobster plus black calamari and seabass tartare.

I am writing to share an extremely disappointing and concerning dining experience at your restaurant. Multiple aspects of our visit were unacceptable and have led to negative health effects.

Spoiled Steak Causing Food Poisoning: The most serious issue was the steak. The meat was not fresh . It had a sour taste and a bad smell, indicating it might have been spoiled . After eating it, I experienced diarrhea the same night, which are symptoms consistent with food poisoning .

Overpriced and Poor-Quality Salad: The vegetable salad, priced at 6 euros, was unacceptably small (smaller than the palm of a hand) and overly salty . This represented very poor value for money.

Unprofessional Handling of Complaints: When we brought the issue of the spoiled steak to the staff's attention, their response was deeply unprofessional. They refused to acknowledge the problem and immediately washed the bowl that had contained the beef, which we perceive as an attempt to destroy evidence of the issue .

Based on the consumption of spoiled food that led to illness, the poor value of other dishes, and the restaurant's refusal to address the problem seriously, I cannot recommend this establishment and feel others should be aware of this experience.

SOLE by Tarragon delivers a solid fine dining experience overall. The service was exceptional, easily 5/5, attentive without being intrusive and very well paced throughout the meal - special mention to Ana who was always keeping an eye out during a very busy evening.

The atmosphere is also strong, elegant and thoughtfully designed, though it could benefit from better noise dampening. At times it feels a bit like sitting in a glass cube, where sound carries more than it should.

As for the food, I’d rate it 4/5. There were definitely standout dishes that showed creativity and strong execution, but a few others felt underwhelming in comparison. I get that not every course will hit the same highs, especially in a multi-dish experience, but some plates came across more like fillers rather than contributing something memorable.

Overall, still a great place and worth visiting, especially for the service and ambiance, but there’s a bit of inconsistency in the food that keeps it from being truly outstanding.

Excellent experience . The service was outstanding - very attentive and genuinely caring. Big thanks to Sabri, our waiter, for making us feel so well looked after. The food was great too: main course, dessert, and cocktails were all delicious. Highly recommended!

Sole by Tarragon has a beautiful atmosphere and an amazing sea view, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special night out. The food is fresh and well-presented, especially the starters and seafood dishes. Cocktails are great, and the staff is friendly and professional.

The only downside was that the meat was slightly overcooked and a bit dry. Also, the pacing between courses felt a bit slow. Overall, a lovely experience, but the main course could have been better for the price.
