This is just so much better than anything nearby. A quiet and quirky restaurant with great friendly service, excellent local wines and a great menu for either sea or land. Beautifully presented and very very tasty. Highly recommended.

We had an outstanding lunch here last week (11 June 2026) when we lucked out on a last-minute lunch reservation. The food is delicious and the service attentive without being at all rushed. And the setting—a 430-year-old house, decorating with antiques—could not be more charming. We had a tomato conserve w/fresh bread; baked, layered, vegetarian dish; the rabbit-and-fig terrine; sea bream; swordfish; roasted veg & potatoes; and walnut cheesecake for dessert. So good!

We made a fairly last minute reservation at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and we were seated in a cozy corner within the stone walls. The food itself was delicious and beautifully plated. The vegetarian option was very good as well. We will be back when we visit Valletta again in the future. That Michelin mention was well deserved!

A wonderful small restaurant where have to go below the street level for the entrance. But than you enter a little Juwel. In an old cellar the restaurant serves in a superb atmosphere. The food is local and absolute tasteful. We had for starter the black pig and the rabbit terrine, both wonderful. For the main we chooses maegre and the lamb. Only word delicious. Also wine list carries a lot of local wine which harmonizes perfectly with the food served. The nomination in the Guide Michelan is well deserved.

Visited this lovely restaurant in Valletta and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our waiter was exceptionally polite, explaining every dish in detail and taking our dietary restrictions into full account. The food was truly amazing—beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Thank you for making our birthday dinner so special.
