ION Harbour by Simon Rogan

I came here with my father on our last night in Malta and it was the perfect ending to our trip. We were greeted very warmly and sat overlooking the harbor; it was an incredible view.

I had a non-alcoholic beverage pairing with my meal and I've truly never had such a memorable experience. The depth and breadth of flavors was unforgettable. Our time at ION Harboir was not just about the exceptional meal but the memories made while enjoying it.

The staff was so kind and genuine, demonstrating vested interest in us as patrons and people. Everything was served with intention and explained in great detail.

ION Harbour by Simon Rogan was one of the most memorable dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the welcome from the staff was warm, genuine, and exceptional. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made.

Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully crafted. The food was not just delicious—it was art. Each course told a story, with incredible attention to detail, creativity, and balance of flavors. You can truly feel the passion and craftsmanship behind every plate.

What makes the experience even more special is Simon Rogan’s philosophy of working closely with farmers and showcasing the finest fresh ingredients. Knowing the care and sustainability behind the food adds another layer of appreciation to the meal.

An unforgettable experience from start to finish. I left inspired, impressed, and already looking forward to my next visit.

Dining at ION Harbour was an outstanding experience. The view over the Grand Harbour is breathtaking - one of the most beautiful in Europe. The food is refined yet perfectly balanced, and the entire evening flows effortlessly from start to finish. The second course was absolutely perfect, though every other dish lived up to the same high standard.

A special mention to Petar from Niš - his recommendations were impeccable and truly elevated the entire experience.
One of the best fine dining experiences in Malta. Highly recommended.

What a place to have a meal! We were sat outside on the terrace. The weather was perfect, the service was absolutely fantastic, the food and the execution of the dishes was absolutely spot on. If you have time for a leisurely special meal, this is the place to be. Highly recommend. I’d recommend a cocktail and then a move on to the wine list. My wife is vegetarian and she was very kindly accommodated here.

A great culinary experience. Staff is clearly a well oiled machine and very attentive and friendly. The menu is packed with flavour and uses local ingredients. The view from the restaurant is superb. Highly recommend their take on an espresso martini (but bear in mind, it’s strong!)
